David Crick - Marine and landscape artist
Capturing light on water and sails full of wind has been a lifelong pursuit for David, who was brought up in Portsmouth on the Sussex Coast and spent his early career in the Royal Navy. His love and knowledge of the sea and of marine craft, harbours, quays, yachts under sail and fishing boats moored among the detritus of a busy marina or quiet inlet are all evident in his sensitive water-colour works and vibrant acrylics and oils.
